Built on what was entrusted to us.
Shoukry Group began as the private investment vehicle of the Al Mansouri family. We have since become an institution with a permanent professional team, a formal investment committee and global offices. Shoukry Group runs portfolios spanning private holdings, income-producing property, listed equities and Islamic fixed income across numerous industries and operational sectors.
What has not changed is the source of the capital or the obligation attached to it. We invest money that belongs to a family, on behalf of family members who are not yet born. That obligation is the reason this firm exists, and it is the standard against which every decision is measured.

Our values
Amanah
What has been placed in our care is not ours. We are custodians of it. This shapes how we size positions, how we borrow and how we behave when a decision goes against us.
Adl
Fairness in dealing. Counterparties who transact with Shoukry Group once should want to transact with us again. Our reputation in the Gulf market took years to build and could be spent in an afternoon.
Sabr
The willingness to wait for the right entry rather than accept the available one. Most of our best outcomes have come from years of doing nothing in a sector before acting quickly when terms changed.
Ihsan
Doing work properly when nobody is checking. Applied to diligence, to governance and to the treatment of people who work inside our portfolio companies.
Sheikh Abdullah Shoukry Al Mansouri
Preserving our founder's vision.
b. May 1941 – November 2025
Sheikh Abdullah Shoukry Al Mansouri was one of the founding partners of Shoukry Group and helped shape not only the businesses we built, but the principles by which we built them.
Born in Abu Dhabi to an Emirati father and an Alexandrian mother, and he was raised between the UAE and Egypt. His cross-border upbringing became an integral part of his business and partnership approach. He believed capital should be productive, but also purposeful; that good stewardship required patience; and that enduring relationships were built on trust and shared understanding. These principles have become central to the way Shoukry Group works with the families it serves.
Those who worked alongside him remember the questions more than the answers. He would ask what a business might look like in thirty years, then what would have to be true for that to happen and who would need to be involved along the way. He brought the same perspective to his relationships: understanding where people and families wanted to go and thinking carefully about how to help them get there.
His philosophy remains at the heart of Shoukry Group today. We believe our role is to be a long-term partner to the families we serve by protecting what has been entrusted to us, seeking opportunities to grow it responsibly, and helping each family navigate the decisions that shape its future. Shoukry Group continues to be built in that spirit, by those he mentored and by the partners and families who share his belief in patience, trust and long-term thinking.
Rahimahullah.
Shariah compliance
Every investment Shoukry Group makes is screened for compliance with Islamic principles before it reaches the investment committee. We exclude conventional financial services, alcohol, tobacco, gambling and businesses deriving material revenue from prohibited activity. Leverage, receivables and cash holdings within portfolio companies are tested against accepted thresholds, and holdings are re-screened annually to uphold due diligence.
Where a business is sound but a portion of income is non-compliant, that income is purified and directed to charitable use rather than retained. Our structures are reviewed by an independent Shariah adviser, and financing across the portfolio is arranged through murabaha, ijara and sukuk instruments.
